Misbranding

My home economics teacher says "Misbranding is the act of labeling a product falsely".  Sometimes, we put the wrong labels on people. We just look at the surface and immediately tag the person with a label we consider appropriate. At times we might be on track with our labels and at other times we get it wrong. I guess that's why the saying don't judge a book by its cover is sometimes right. Our sights can be blurry and we might not see certain people for who they really are.
What propelled this? you think. The Kristen Stewart/ Rupert Sanders scandal. I really hope it's a rumor and that we haven't tagged her wrongly.
